Very good. I have no complaints other than the 2 hours they are closed for nap time in the middle of the day

Quite possibly the best sushi in town, along with a very comprehensive menu. Excellent staff. You most definitely need to reserve well in advance.

The food was fantastic. The wait was long. Worth it, but costs them a star.

Questions & Answers

Probably, but best bet would be to reach out directly to Akai Hana. Tons of vegetarian options: veggies, seaweed, meatless noodle dishes, etc... but they do use a eggs, broths, and oils in some of the cooking which might overlap with some of the above.

Per website I do not see any information related to reservations. I do know walk-ins are welcome from personal experience. I recommend calling restaurant to confirm if they accept reservations.

No

They absolutely have a gluten free menu and use tamari ('gluten-free soy sauce') in some recipes.

No, not online. You can get gift cards at the restaurant, or from the grocery store and gift shop next door.
